Company Profile
|

Gulti Co., Ltd. (pronounced ga roo chi) is an entertainment software developer founded in 2006 and based in Tokyo’s mecca of electronics, gaming and pop culture, Akihabara. The founding members of Gulti include the core development team from Seibu Kaihatsu’s Raiden and Raiden Fighters series.
Gulti specializes in shooting games, more commonly referred to as “Shoot ‘em ups” or shmups. With its roots in the Raiden series, it was only natural that one of Gulti’s first major releases was the Success© published Raiden Fighters Aces produced for the Xbox 360™. For Raiden fans, Aces is a must-have: a single boxed set including Raiden Fighters, Raiden Fighters 2 and Raiden Fighters JET, all previously unreleased for home consoles.

Adding a techno-style pace, trance-inducing background colorization and a funky soundtrack to boot, Gulti and Taito© injected “a huge shot of adrenaline”
(ign.com)
in Taito’s arcade classic, Space Invaders with the Play Station Portable© remake- Space Invaders Extreme. Set to be released in North America on June 17, 2008, Extreme is an addictive and vibrant update of the old-school classic, one that holds true to the original in concept and game play, but is clearly made for the modern audience in design and interactivity. |

In addition to software for home gaming systems, Gulti also develops games for arcade systems and is currently in the final stages of making Mamoru-kun wa Norowareteshimatta (Mamoru-kun is Cursed!) in collaboration with Yokohama-based developer G.rev.
